Israeli Air Raids Strike New Hezbollah Targets in Beirut Stronghold, Aley

The Israeli air force launched on Thursday a series of powerful airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, a stronghold of Hezbollah, following a night of intense bombardment that saw the area hit by 17 raids.

The strikes targeted the areas of Haret Hreik, Burj Al-Barajneh, the American Neighborhood in Hadath, and Ghobeiry.

Initial reports indicated that Hezbollah’s media office was among the targets hit by the Israeli air raids.

In addition to the strikes in Beirut, there were also reports of an air raid on the town of Kayfoun in the Aley District, a mountainous area southeast of the capital.

Reports mentioned that the Israeli strike targeted the transmission tower of Hezbollah's Al-Manar TV.
