An Israeli drone strike targeted a vehicle near the Zabadani Bridge, located on the Lebanese-Syrian border, local media reported on Wednesday. 

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, four people were killed inside the vehicle that was en route to Lebanon when it was struck by the Israeli drone.

Initial reports indicated that three Palestinians affiliated with the Islamic Jihad group and one Lebanese national from Hezbollah were killed in the strike. 

The Zabadani region, situated close to the border, has long been a strategic area, often associated with cross-border smuggling and the movement of militants. Israel has previously carried out similar operations in the area, targeting what it claims are threats to its national security.
