Israeli Airstrike Hits Hamas Leader in Lebanon Amid Ongoing Border Tensions

An Israeli drone struck a vehicle in southern on Monday, targeting another Hamas leader in Lebanon.

Annahar quoted sources as saying that two missiles were fired at a Honda CR-V car on the Shamaa highway between Haret Saida and Abra, injuring Hamas commander, Nidal Halayhel, as he was leaving his home and entering his car.

The situation on the ground remains tense, with another Israeli airstrike reported in the town of Teir Harfa. Although the area experienced a brief period of relative calm, Israeli drones have maintained a constant high-altitude presence, adding to the anxiety of local residents.

On the other side of the border, sirens blared across southern Golan, raising alarms of a possible drone infiltration. The Israeli newspaper "Israel Hayom" reported that air defense systems intercepted a drone south of Tiberias.

Later, the Israeli military confirmed that it had intercepted a "suspicious aerial target" east of Lake Tiberias, which was identified as a drone that had infiltrated from Syria.
