Israel is set to enter a new phase of fighting in southern Lebanon in the coming days, Israel’s Channel 12 reported, citing the Israeli military.

The report said the Israeli army had completed an operation to destroy Hezbollah’s infrastructure in the area of the so-called Yellow Line.

Israel has said its military presence in southern Lebanon is intended to prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding its military capabilities and to protect communities in northern Israel.
