Iran's Impudence Unfolds: Special Representative Based in Beirut Conducts Daily Talks

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi continues to meddle in Lebanese affairs with blatant audacity, sharing this role with Mohammad Qalibaf, the Iranian Parliament Speaker.

Following a series of provocative comments in recent weeks, Araghchi doubled down by asserting Tehran’s interference in Lebanon's affairs, revealing that he has a special representative based in Beirut who holds daily discussions with Lebanese officials.

According to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, Araghchi said that while Iran has worked to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East, it remains prepared for any eventuality. He emphasized that the possibility of an expanded conflict is "real."

He further stated that the talks he has so far held with neighboring countries' leaders have revealed a general consensus on the need to prevent the outbreak of war. Despite these efforts, the Iranian foreign minister issued a stern warning, saying, "If Zionist aggression continues, we will respond."

"Iran does not want war in the region, but it is ready for any war," he stated, warning that the possibility of a broader regional conflict, which could engulf multiple countries, remains on the table.
