Lawmaker Elias Hankach said that "Kataeb Party has no rivals, but it doesn’t share the same political opinions with other parties, as the party does not make deals”.

"The problem today is in a group that disrupts the election of the president of the Republic," Hankach said in an interview with Grand LB Newspaper.

"The consensus among Christians on the name of the next president is not necessary as much as the importance of the democratic process to takes place and the exercise of deputies duties in Parliament," he noted.
