Kataeb lawmaker Elias Hankach recalled the Beirut port explosion on its second anniversary, saying that the Kataeb party will keep on fighting until truth is revealed, justice is achieved and those behind the explosion are held accountable.

“Today, we pray for those who died in the explosion of the Beirut port two years ago, and for the resumption of the probe,” Hankach tweeted.

"Yesterday, We, the Kataeb parliamentary bloc, signed a formal petition addressed to the UN Human Rights Council by the families of Beirut port explosion victims, requesting the creation of an international investigation commission to continue the probe into the Beirut blast,” he added.
