Hankach Deems South Military Maneuver Unconstitutional, Breach of All Prohibitions

Kataeb Lawmaker Elias Hankach explained to "Nidaa Al-Watan" newspaper that the replacement for the large-scale disruption of institutions work in Lebanon was achieved by transferring the Lebanese cause in its political, developmental, and reformist aspects to decision-making circles abroad, and presenting the reality that prevents the election of a president.

The lawmaker emphasized the need to leave the door open for internal consensus, within the framework of necessary steps accumulation within a long path between opposition forces and others to reach a presidential candidate who is capable of securing the required balance to run for the presidential race.

He added that the opposition's efforts aim to agree on the project of the upcoming president and the mission entrusted to him, rather than focusing on specific names.
