Kataeb Political Bureau member, former minister Alain Hakim has emphasized the urgent need for a national truth and reconciliation conference as Lebanon navigates its current challenges. In a post on the "X" platform, Hakim echoed the proposal put forward by Kataeb Party leader Samy Gemayel, advocating for an inclusive dialogue that fosters unity and a shared vision for the country’s future.

"The only solution for the coming phase is a conference for truth and reconciliation among all parties, as proposed by Kataeb Party leader Samy Gemayel," Hakim wrote. "The Lebanese society today is in dire need of solidarity and a unified sovereign vision for the future to dispel fears and build a state for our children."
