Kataeb Party leader Samy Gemayel met with Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar on Thursday to congratulate him on his appointment in the new government.

Gemayel was accompanied by Kataeb Political Bureau members Alain Hakim and Ghassan Abou Jaoude during the visit to Hajjar's office.

Discussions focused on the latest domestic developments and the ongoing preparations for the municipal and mayoral elections scheduled for May.
