Gemayel: Boutros Khawand’s Only Crime Was Fighting for His Country’s Freedom
On the anniversary of the abduction of Kataeb Political Bureau Member Boutros Khawand, Kataeb Leader MP Samy Gemayel wrote on his "X" account:
"32 years and our comrade Boutros Khawand has been absent from his family and friends.
32 years, his fate is unknown, yet the kidnapper is known."
He added: "His only crime was being a free, brave, and bold resistance fighter who dedicated his life to liberating his country and restoring its sovereignty and independence."
"We reaffirm that we will neither waver nor back down from our national commitments, and we promise his resilient and faithful family that we will continue to exert our utmost efforts to uncover his fate," he concluded.
