Kataeb Party leader Samy Gemayel met with David Hale, Distinguished Diplomatic Fellow at the Middle East Institute and former U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, at the party’s Saifi headquarters. 

The meeting focused on Lebanon’s longstanding challenge of bringing all weapons under exclusive State authority, and explored the country's potential negotiation strategies. 

The meeting was also attended by MP Elias Hankash and Marwan Abdallah, head of the Kataeb Party’s Foreign Affairs Department, alongside Ambassador Hale’s accompanying delegation.
