Louis Vuitton Removes Michael Jackson's Items From Upcoming Collection

French luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton has removed all Michael Jackson’s items from its 2019 summer menswear collection, amid the ongoing uproar caused by a two-part documentary exposing the late singer's alleged sex crimes.

“I am aware that in light of this documentary, the show has caused emotional reactions. I strictly condemn any form of child abuse, violence or infringement against any human rights,” the brand’s menswear designer, Virgil Abloh, said in a statement.

“My intention for this show was to refer to Michael Jackson as a pop culture artist. It referred only to his public life that we all know and to his legacy that has influenced a whole generation of artists and designers,” he added.

“We find the allegations in the documentary deeply troubling,” Louis Vuitton CEO Michael Burke said.

Earlier this month, American HBO network aired a four-hour documentary, "Leaving Neverland", featuring two men claiming that Jackson had repeatedly abused them sexually during their childhood.
