Museum Extends Sold-Out Dior Exhibition
Victoria & Albert museum will extend its “Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams” exhibition to September 1st after it was supposed to end on July 14.
The show sold out in less than three weeks after opening on February 2, drawing 121,566 visitors.
“We knew that ‘Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams’ would be popular, but we have been overwhelmed by the phenomenal visitor response to date,” director of the V&A, Tristram Hunt, said.
