The European People’s Party Summit kicked off in Brussels on Thursday, bringing together senior European officials and political leaders for high-level discussions.
Among the participants is Kataeb Party leader Samy Gemayel, accompanied by Marwan Abdallah, who heads the party’s foreign affairs department.
The summit is attended by top European leadership, including President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, and Manfred Weber, President of the European People’s Party and head of its parliamentary group. Also attending is Dolors Montserrat, the EPP’s secretary-general.
Several heads of state and government are also taking part including Nikos Christodoulides, President of Cyprus, and Friedrich Merz, Chancellor of Germany, along with the prime ministers of Luxembourg, Sweden, Greece, Portugal, Finland, Croatia, Latvia, Austria, and Poland.
The gathering underscores the European People’s Party’s role as a key platform for coordination among European leaders and political actors amid ongoing regional and international challenges.
