Arrest of Drug Dealer in Beirut

As part of the daily monitoring conducted by the Internal Security Forces to curb drug trafficking and distribution in various areas of Lebanon.

On July 15, 2023, after a surveillance and tracking operation, a unit from the Anti-Terrorism and Major Crimes Bureau in Beirut and Mount Lebanon within the Judicial Police arrested a Syrian suspect, caught red-handed while selling drugs on a black "Landi" motorbike without license plates, which was found to be stolen according to his statements.

During the search, the following items were seized:

- 10 plastic boxes containing cocaine.

- 36 transparent nylon bags containing Salvia.

- 21 transparent nylon bags containing marijuana.

- 41 transparent nylon bags containing cannabis.

- A sum of money and a mobile phone.
