The Lebanese Army said it remains committed to maintaining internal stability and safeguarding civil peace, as the country faces mounting security and political challenges, including continued Israeli violations of its sovereignty and growing regional volatility.

In a statement issued on Friday, the Army Command warned against any attempts to destabilize the country, stressing it “will not allow any breach of security or disturbance to civil peace.”

"Lebanon is currently facing a series of exceptional circumstances," the statement read, highlighting "the ongoing attacks and violations of national sovereignty by the Israeli enemy" as well as "internal security challenges, border control efforts, and the complex developments unfolding across the region."

The military stressed the need for “unity, solidarity, and awareness among the Lebanese people of the gravity of the situation” in order to navigate this turbulent period, calling on all citizens to act with “a sense of responsibility” and avoid any actions that could “have unintended consequences on the country’s security.”
