Appeals Court Rejects Salameh's Recusal, Orders LBP 6 Billion Compensation to Lebanese State

The Court of Appeals rejected the recusal request filed by former Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh against members of the Indictment Chamber charged with his file.

The Court obligated Salameh to compensate the Case Authority, representing the Lebanese state, with a total of LBP 6 billion, due to delayed investigations caused by the recusal lawsuits.
