Alfa and Touch Employees Go On Strike

Alfa and Touch employees in Lebanon went on strike on Thursday in support of their demand for a higher pay, according to the state-run National News Agency.

The workers claimed that before walking off their job and calling a strike, they had exhausted the conversations and consultations with the companies' administrations, but to no avail.

Due to the strike, the two mobile telecommunications companies' corporate offices and sales locations across the nation, were closed on Thursday.

Additionally, the sale of lines, recharge cards, and customer services, as well as maintenance work on stations, ceased.
