'Touch' and 'Alfa' Employees: We Will Not Allow Any Arbitrary Actions

The Syndicate of Telecom Employees, has consistently stressed that all employees have equal rights and are subject to the regulations of private companies, with evaluations carried out by the Human Resources departments of "Touch" and "Alfa".

The Syndicate has repeatedly called upon the managements of both companies to honor their commitments to the employees.

Today, the Syndicate of Telecom Employees, "Touch" and "Alfa," has confirmed that the managements of both companies have the right to apply the existing internal regulations, just as employees have the right to receive their full salaries, with a priority given to this over any other actions.

The Syndicate has sent a letter to the employees of "Touch" and "Alfa," outlining several key points:

1. The Syndicate unequivocally rejects dealing with fellow employees in an arbitrary manner.

2. Approaching the issue in this manner negatively impacts employee work, subjecting them to continuous and direct accusations, which hinders them from taking individual initiatives and results in them waiting for orders and instructions to follow.

3. The primary reference for auditing and accountability of employees in cases like this should be the relevant departments within the two companies, such as HR, Audit, and Legal, as they possess all the necessary mechanisms and resources to conduct this within the legal and regulatory frameworks within each company.

4. All fellow employees must respect and adhere to the working procedures of each company while maintaining the confidentiality of information related to their work. However, any action taken against an employee that violates these principles will be appropriately addressed by the union within the legal framework to prevent unwarranted infringements.

5. The authority granted to department managers should never be tampered with.

6. The company has the right to apply the existing internal regulations as they are, just as employees have the right to receive their full salaries, with a priority given to this over any other actions.

7. The Syndicate , while preserving the authorities of the HR departments, will not allow any arbitrary actions against any employee.

The Syndicate concludes by stating that it will oversee the regular administrative and professional work of both companies and work to ensure the respect for the privacy of all employees.
