U.S. to Target 250 Individuals in New Hezbollah Sanctions

The United States is planning to gradually impose a new round of sanctions targeting roughly 250 individuals linked to Hezbollah, Nidaa al-Watan reported.

According to sources, the list includes not only formal members of the party but also individuals from various religious communities who collaborate with Hezbollah financially, militarily, in security, or other sectors.

The anticipated U.S. sanctions come amid a parallel European push to restrict Hezbollah’s access to funds. Over the years, the party has established extensive financing networks across multiple sectors, which provide a significant portion of its budget in addition to supporting the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and other Tehran-linked entities, according to the report.
