U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Iran had sought talks with Washington but insisted it was “too late,” as the war between the United States and Israel on one side and Tehran on the other has intensified.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump dismissed the prospect of negotiations, arguing that Iran’s core defense capabilities had already been dismantled.

“Their air defense, Air Force, Navy, and Leadership is gone. They want to talk. I said, ‘Too Late!’” he wrote.
