Singapore's Changi airport has been ranked as the best in the world for the seventh year in a row, the 2019 edition of air transport research firm Skytrax's annual study.

Singapore also won for having the world's best airport leisure amenities and was chosen as the best airport in Asia.

In the survey, which involved more than 13 million travelers across the globe, Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) came in the second place as world's best airport, followed by South Korea's Incheon International Airport (3rd), Doha Hamad (4th), Hong Kong (5th), Japan's Chubu Centrair Nahoya (6th), Munich (7th), London Heathrow (8th), Tokyo's Narita (9th) and Zurich (10th).

Tokyo's Haneda won the award of world's cleanest airport, and China's Guangzhou was picked as the most improved airport.
