There are emerging indications of tendencies to suspend Cabinet meetings.

Ministerial sources told Al-Liwaa newspaper that Caretaker Prime Minister Mikati expressed his intentions within the Cabinet to ensure that everyone takes responsibility and to avoid continuing to blame the government for every issue.

They also noted that he did not reveal his next steps but raised his voice, indicating that he won't accept the status quo.

The same sources pointed out that there hasn't been a decision to suspend Cabinet sessions, but there is no objection to a governmental break in order to clarify matters and create a calmer atmosphere.
