Syrian Refugees Build Camp on Public Property in the South

A group of Syrian refugees have built a large camp for themselves on large areas of public property using concrete and iron, taking advantage of the delicate security situation in the south and the citizens' departure from their areas due to the bombing they are subjected to.

After directing more than one warning to the Syrian refugees about the necessity of leaving the camp they built in the Sharnieh - Tyre area, near "Burj Al-Shimali", they refused to comply.

Consequently, patrols from the State Security - Tyre office, carried out raids on the camp, demolished it, and forced its residents to leave, after obtaining a signal from the Financial General Prosecutor, Judge Ali Ibrahim.
