Sayegh to Ghanem: I Vow Not to Relent in Waging This Struggle for Freedom, Not Before the Dawn of Liberty

Deputy Head of Kataeb Party Selim Sayegh on Monday recalled the late lawmaker Antoine Ghanem who had been martyred.

“My beloved Antoine, how nice it would have been to be a colleague of yours today after I was a companion for a lifetime. With you, things would have been nicer and easier,” Sayegh tweeted.

“You are gentle yet tough, you are the committed, loyal, and courageous interlocutor, and the reverberating voice from the depths,” he continued.

“Before the dawn of liberty, I vow not to rest; I will not relent in waging this struggle for freedom neither through legislation nor through anything else,” Sayegh concluded.
