Kataeb Lawmaker Selim Sayegh recalled late MP Gebran Tueni on his 18th assassination anniversary.

"The assassination of every martyr from the martyrs of the Independence in the past was a prelude to the assassination of the entire nation now," Sayegh wrote on "X" platform.

"The features of individual assassination may blur and disappear. What about the features of the nation, democracy, and the army's assassinations?" he asked.

"We, the free deputies, as Gebran Tueni said, express our stance. Who will stand by us?'" he added.
