Kataeb lawmaker Selim Sayegh on Wednesday met with Maronite Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi with talks featuring high on the country’s latest developments, namely the upcoming presidential elections and the maritime border demarcation file.

Sayegh explained the legal and political aspects of the demarcation, deeming the agreement between Israel and Lebanon as an international treaty that must be concluded in the Parliament.

The Kataeb lawmaker also stressed on the swift election of a president before the end of Aoun’s term without wasting time on delaying tactics.
