Kataeb Lawmaker Selim Sayegh affirmed that the dismissal of the army commander should be postponed, regardless of the circumstances, emphasizing that the decision regarding the participation of Kataeb MPs in the legislative session will be discussed in during Kataeb political bureau meeting.
Sayegh recalled late MP Gebran Tueni on his 18th assassination anniversary, saying: "The assassination of every martyr from the martyrs of the Independence in the past was a prelude to the assassination of the entire nation now."
"The army is currently vulnerable to assassination. We will not allow this to happen," he added.
