Salam Meets Grand Mufti Abdellatif Derian, Vows to Expedite Government Formation Process
Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam met on Thursday with Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Abdellatif Derian, at Dar Al-Fatwa.
This marks Salam's first visit since his appointment to form the government.
"I came to ensure His Eminence the Mufti is in good health, and he is fine," he said.
Salam assured that he is doing everything possible to speed up the formation of the government.
