MP Waddah Sadek wrote on "X" platform: "Some within parliamentary blocs must understand that the constitution is our only reference, and the formation of the government will adhere to this principle."

 

He continued, "The time for inventing practices to control decisions, ministries, and to serve financial, political, and service-related interests has ended. Just as they recently jumped on the bandwagon of change in the first and third presidencies, they will attempt to adopt the same unconventional approach in forming governments. Otherwise, they should remain outside the government and shift to the opposition, as we did for many years. They pushed us out with negativity, excessive power, and attacks on the constitution, while we opened our arms to build a state together, as mandated by the constitution and the Taif Agreement. There’s no turning back now."
