Report: Russian Plane Transports Iranian Diplomats and Revolutionary Guards’ Bodies from Beirut
A Russian cargo plane reportedly carrying more than 100 Iranian diplomats, along with the bodies of five members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, departed from Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International Airport, according to Lebanese media outlet MTV.
Reports indicate that the Russian-made IL-76 transport aircraft took off from Beirut carrying the Iranian officials and military personnel. The Revolutionary Guards members were allegedly killed during Israel’s recent airstrikes in the Lebanese capital, which targeted Hezbollah and other Iran-linked positions.
