Report: Hezbollah Names Replacement for Wafiq Safa Following Beirut Strike

Hezbollah has appointed a new chief for its Liaison and Coordination Unit after the recent targeting of its former head, Wafiq Safa, in an Israeli strike on central Beirut, Al Arabiya reported.

Safa, a prominent figure within Hezbollah, was critically injured in the October 10 strike, with conflicting reports still emerging about his fate. 

The identity of Safa’s successor has not been disclosed.
