U.S. State Secretary Mike Pompeo said that his country is ready to engage in talks with Iran "without preconditions", stressing, however, that the U.S. needs to see Tehran behaving like "a normal nation."

"The American effort to fundamentally reverse the malign activity of this Islamic Republic, this revolutionary force, is going to continue," Pompeo said.
