Northern Intelligence Branch Arrests Cable Thief Targeting Public Network, Telephone Lines

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces announced the arrest of an individual involved in stealing cables belonging to the telephone network in Saki Al-Tabbaneh.

The suspect was caught red-handed while attempting to sell the stolen cables. Around 350 kilograms of cables, worth approximately $2,500, along with tools used in theft operations and a black BMW X5 SUV without license plates, were confiscated.

During questioning, the suspect admitted to repeated involvement in cable theft. The seized items were handed over to the relevant institution, and the suspect has been referred to the judiciary.

Efforts are underway to apprehend other individuals involved in these crimes.
