Kataeb Lawmaker Nadim Gemayel wrote on "X" platform: "Lebanon is committed to UNSC Resolutions 1559 and 1701, and it is up to the Lebanese army to implement them, as it is the guarantor of the country's sovereignty and security and must put an end to everything that is happening to avoid repeating bitter history." 

He refused the repetition of the experience of armed Palestinian organizations that have caused nothing but destruction and ruin under the pretext of the Palestinian cause.

"Whoever desires to fight and engage in jihad, let him fight and strive, but not from within Lebanese territory.... Lebanon is not an alternative homeland, nor is it an alternative battlefield for war and jihad," Gemayel pointed out.
