24-Year-Old Man Wins Third Largest Lottery Prize in U.S. History

Wisconsin resident, Manuel Franco, won a massive U.S. Powerball prize worth $768.4 million, making it the third-largest jackpot in the country's lottery history.

“I walked into the Speedway and I purchased $10 worth of individual Powerball tickets. I honestly felt so lucky that I did look up at the camera and I wanted to wink at it cause I just had that lucky feeling,” Franco said at a news conference.

"I was going insane. My heart started racing. I screamed for about 5 or 10 minutes,” he recounted.

The 24-year-old winner quit his job the following day.

"I want to take a break, let it sink in. I do want to help out the world but I want to make sure my future is secure,” he added.
