Lebanon, Britain to Hold Joint Military Exercise Starting Tuesday
The Lebanese Army is preparing to launch the joint exercise "PEGASUS CEDAR 2026" with the British Army on October 6, 2026, which will last for three weeks, as part of the ongoing military cooperation between the two sides since the start of these joint exercises in 2023.

Lebanon’s Government Is Stalling and Calling It Strategy
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam’s meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio was presented as an attempt to move the tripartite framework from principles to implementation. Salam called for reciprocity, a clear timetable, credible verification, Israeli withdrawal, and exclusive state control over weapons. These demands are legitimate. Ministerial Meeting to Be Held in Diman Tomorrow
Caretaker Ministers of Public Works, Telecommunication, Finance and Labor confirmed their participation in the ministerial meeting that is going to be held tomorrow in Diman.
Through his participation, Caretaker Minister of Displaced Persons Issam Sharaf Al-Din also support from the Patriarch Rahi on the refugee issue.
However, the Caretaker Minister of Tourism announced that he would not join the meeting tomorrow, stating, “I will not participate in the Diman meeting unless Patriarch Rahi directly invites the ministers”.
