Matta: There Is No Cap on Dollar’s Exchange Rate

Economic Analyst Maurice Matta asserted that the black market dollar would continue to soar.

"The dollar, reliability, and stability are correlated, "Matta noted in an interview with Voice of Lebanon 100,5.

"Such factors necessitate a government that complies with IMF guidelines and ensures financial and security stability," he added.

He made the point that supply and demand had an impact on the value of the dollar.

“Since petrol, maintenance, schools, and universities are all now priced in dollars, there is no cap on the dollar's free-market exchange rate because demand for the currency has increased significantly,” he concluded.
