Israeli Drone Strike Kills Hezbollah Member in Southern Lebanon

An Israeli drone strike on Tuesday afternoon targeted a pickup truck in the southern Lebanese town of Al-Haniyeh, in the Tyre district, killing one person.

The strike killed Ali Hashem, a member of Hezbollah from the nearby town of Majdal Zoun, local sources said. Hashem was reportedly gathering firewood when the drone launched its first missile. He managed to escape the initial blast, but was fatally struck by a second missile moments later.

Sources noted that Hashem had previously been injured in an earlier Israeli drone strike in the town of Deir Qanoun Ras El Ain but had survived that attack.
