Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Tuesday stressed the party's support to achieve gender equality in the lebanese society, and enhance women's participation in public life.

"We pledge our utmost support to help women to take an active part in the public life and eliminate all forms of discrimination against them in laws and social norms," Gemayel wrote on twitter on the occasion of the Women’s International Day.
