Exclusive :Pharmacists Syndicate Issues Important Decision for First Time

Pharmacists Syndicate head Joe Salloum on Thursday announced that for the first time in the history of the Syndicate, its inspection rights were expanded by the Minister of Health, to include pharmacies and all clinics, on everything related to medicine, including illegal seizures of it, provided that the direction and management of the inspection are exclusively in the hands of the head, in coordination and full partnership with the Ministry of Health.

“The main objective is the medicine quality and its insurance in addition to the work carried out by the syndicate in the framework of issuing a pharmaceutical card to improve the purchasing power of the citizen and controlling the price and the quality of the medicines in clinics and pharmacies,” Salloum said in an interview with Kataeb.Org.

“Pharmacists are committed today to the pricing issued by the Ministry of Health, but this decision requires adherence to the quality of the medicine and its standard price,” he added.
