Hankache: We Ally with Anyone Who Puts Lebanon's Sovereignty and Fighting Corruption as a Priority

Resigned Kataeb lawmaker Elias Hankache on Friday stressed that they will ally with anyone or any group that will put Lebanon’s sovereignty as a priority as well as fighting corruption, saying that the party has taken a clear path years ago and has resolved its stance in the opposition.

“All our activities were carried out with people from outside the Cabinet and the Parliament,” Hankache told Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper.

“The closest to us are the resigned representatives, groups and people with whom we agree on the issue of sovereignty and how to confront corruption and the destruction of the country,” he said.
