Gemayel Praises Women on International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women
Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Thursday praised women on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, renewing his support for all those who strive to build a just and an equal society.
“We reiterate our rejection to the honor crimes which we have succeeded in passing a law to prevent them and we demand an effective implementation of the Domestic Violence Law that we have fought a great battle to adopt it,” Gemayel wrote on Twitter.
