Kataeb Health Council Calls for Combining Efforts to Achieve Change

Kataeb Health Council on Saturday stressed that the healthcare workers should receive a third booster dose of Pfizer BionNTech vaccine; saying that the children from 5 to 11 should also get the Pfizer vaccine.

 

“We call for providing doctors with mandatory vaccines, particularly seasonal influenza vaccine, and to exert utmost efforts to increase the rate of general immunization in children, to address the risk of the emergence and increase of bacterial diseases in society,” read a statement issued by the Kataeb Health Council.

 

“We also call to speed up the vaccination process especially the vaccination of the educational sector and to provide all schools with health requirements,” it added.

 

The Health Council also stressed the importance of health monitoring within the tourism and consumption sectors and awareness raising on parents for their children’s safety from car accidents and food poisoning.

 

The Kataeb Health Council also warned the government again, and called on the health sectors to combine efforts so as to achieve change especially in the syndicate’s elections.
