Saade Deems Foreign Minister Statement as an Insult to all Lebanese

Former lawmaker Samer Saade on Tuesday slammed the remarks made by Foreign Minister Charbel wehbe stating that the Gulf countries are the ones founding the Islamic State, deeming his statement as an insult for all the Lebanese people.

“The official spokesperson for Lebanon's Foreign Relations, or what was known as the Lebanese diplomacy, cared about admiring his patrons at the expense of the interest of Lebanon and the Lebanese,” Saade wrote on Twitter.

“This is the era of the Lebanese humiliation,” he said.

“The series of destroying and isolating Lebanon continues,” he added.
