Lebanon on Thursday issued a decision aimed at extending the current lockdown until February 8 as daily coronavirus cases and death rates are still surging.

The lockdown is set to remain a strict one with an all-day curfew in place and very little exceptions are given with regards to when people can move around, and which sectors can open.
