Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Wednesday slammed the attack carried out by some of Hezbollah members on the USJ students, deeming it as a mere evidence that this team does not support democracy.

“This attack shows that these members do not respect democracy, the concept of elections and their results,” Gemayel wrote on Twitter.

“No wonder they have rejected holding early parliamentary elections and they have been exerting efforts to foil any upcoming polls,” he said.
