Lebanon's Interior Ministry Orders New Curfew Hours

Lebanon’s Interior Ministry on Sunday imposed new curfew hours in the country, putting 115 towns and villages under lockdown as the number of coronavirus cases is highly increasing.

According to the ministry’s memo, the new nationwide curfew is between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m, stressing that pubs and nightclubs are to remain closed as well as all types of social gatherings.

Restaurants and cafes that aren’t located in the towns under lockdown are allowed to operate at a maximum 50 percent capacity while maintaining physical distancing and virus prevention measures.
