Sayegh Calls on Bkirki to Hold a Conference That Would Save Lebanon from Current Crises

Kataeb's Deputy-President Selim Sayegh on Friday stressed that the best thing that Bkirki can accomplish today is to hold a conference that would save Lebanon from the current crises it is facing, saying that this is Hezbollah’s best chance to call for the country’s neutrality.

“The political movement towards Bkirki reinforces the Maronite Patriarchate again as a point of national polarization,” Sayegh told Al-Markazia newspaper.

“We are facing a rescue operation of the State’s components. It is not allowed to place Bkirki in the internal political game field and those who are in the government and outside it should seize Bkirki’s stance as it assures for everyone a way out of their political predicament," he added.
